    commercial garage doors

Our client, Todd, built a very large metal garage on his property to house his many vehicles.

The space ended up being so big, it needed commercial sized doors to complete and secure the space. We measured the opening: 10 feet wide and 14 feet high. Wow!

Todd wanted durable garage doors to stand up to the elements, but he also wanted a more residential look even though he needed to purchase commercial type garage doors. He didn’t like the look of the commercial doors he had seen.

The last requirement Todd had was allowing as much light into the garage as possible. He didn’t want all glass doors, so we needed to find the right model that would satisfy all of these needs.

I think we hit the nail on the head with this project. It wasn’t easy to get these doors picked out, delivered, and installed, but we did it!

We installed 2 beautiful 24 gauge garage doors. We were able to add a top panel of windows to allow light in without compromising the durability of the rest of the door. We also installed 2 LiftMaster 8500 jackshaft openers in order to allow for the greatest clearance for the garage. The openers install to the wall of the garage, not the ceiling which helps give more clearance.

    Looks great, right!?

The doors will do a great job at protecting Todd’s toys inside from the elements. The top panels of windows allow a huge amount of light to come in during the day. And if you didn’t know just how big the doors were, you might not realize that they are oversized. They look just like the common residential style garage doors you see on homes all over.

Todd is so happy to have beautiful doors, with natural light, that function for his unique space!
